Nike’s removal of its products from Amazon illustrates an ongoing and increasing problem: online platforms using unreliable anti-counterfeit methods. There is a huge opportunity for these online retailers to adopt proactive and consistent solutions to enable consumers to make educated decisions about their purchases.

There are new methods and technology available today which online stores should adopt to proactively fight counterfeit and regain the trust of consumers and brands.
